Modern day epidemics NCDs are primarily caused by unhealthy lifestyle practices which mainly include sedentary habits and consuming unhealthy foods. Swasthavritta, as the torchbearers of Āyurveda, plays a critical role in fostering a healthier lifestyle thereby preventing ailments. There appears to be a significant gap between desired lifestyle modification practices and current practices. The absence of amicable adoptions of Āyurveda lifestyle practices and lack of exposure to the subject and specialty are the reasons for this gap. There is a great need for a well-trained and educated scholar in the society to provide customized Āyurveda lifestyle counselling. With this idea to give a platform for exchange of knowledge and to globalize Āyurveda, “Swasthāyu 2K22” is organized.
